Madison Rohr, our newest licensed agent is in the Agent Spotlight. Madison joined the Golden Plains Insurance team in 2020 and is licensed in property and casualty lines. She works out of Walsenburg, Colorado to help ensure the offices run smoothly by servicing and selling a variety of policies, along with helping clients with all of their insurance needs.

Congratulations to the 2021 Golden Plains Insurance Scholarship Recipient – Payton Rae Arbuthnot

Each year Golden Plains Insurance awards an eligible graduating senior an educational scholarship based on their commitment to their community, educational institution, faith and to furthering their educational journey. The quantity and quality of the applications we received this year were amazing, with over 20 superior quality applications received by the Scholarship Nominating Committee. After much deliberation and in recognizing this young lady’s leadership and community service, Golden Plains Insurance awards Peyton Arbuthnot our annual $1000.00 educational scholarship.

Congrats to the Two Beef Bundle Winners!

In celebration of Colorado Farmers and Ranchers and in support of #MeatInDay, on March 21st, 2021 Golden Plains Insurance drew two names at random from the list of all the people who registered to win one of two beef bundles that they were offering via an online contest on Facebook. Each 50-pound beef bundle contained cuts of Sirloin, Ribeye, Ribs, Ground Beef and Roast.

Golden Plains insurance knows that Agriculture is the backbone of this region’s economy. The farmers, ranchers and cattlemen of Southeast Colorado are the driving force behind the success of our area.  We owe them a huge thank you for what they do for the local economy, as well as providing food for the world. To show our appreciation, Golden Plains Insurance is giving away TWO meat bundle packages on March 20th.
