As the owner of Golden Plains Insurance, Nick Palmer guides his team with his extensive knowledge in Ag Business. Along with meeting with clients regularly, Nick is focused on building and growing Golden Plains. Growing up on a ranch has given Nick a significant background in agriculture. He has received his Bachelor's degree in business from Adams State College as well as being a licensed agent in many states including Colorado, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona and Montana. Nick worked for PJ Wilson Insurance from 2005-2012 before he purchased out that agency and thus began Golden Plains Insurance. Later in 2014, he purchased CSB Insurance in Walsh and Jennifer Morlan Insurance in 2016. In 2017, Nick married the lovely and talented Emily Palmer and welcomed her then ten-year-old daughter Gracie into the Palmer family as well. Nick very much enjoys supporting Gracie in everything she takes on; he is a proud Wiley Panther dad! In October 2019 Nick, Emily and Gracie welcomed little brother Lincoln Adin Palmer into their happy home! Gracie is so excited to be a big sister and Nick and Emily are enjoying every moment with their new little farmer in training. Although much of his time is spent behind a desk, Nick truly enjoys getting outdoors in the actual production side of agriculture, he loves to see crops and cattle grow. Nick’s sincere hope is that the work he does for his clients in agriculture will make their passion of production agriculture more successful for them. Nick lives by the principle once stated by Henry David Thoreau “Character – Be true to your work, your word, and your friends.”
