Golden Plains Insurance is proud to announce its annual scholarship award. In recognition of the Golden Plains Insurance Agency’s 10-year Anniversary under the ownership of Nick Palmer. Again this year we will be awarding a $2,000 scholarship for the 2022-2023 Academic school year to a deserving 2023 high school graduate with a desire for successful completion of higher education, either academic or vocational.

Lamar— April 25, 2022 — Each year Golden Plains Insurance awards an eligible graduating senior an educational scholarship based on their commitment to their community, educational institution, faith and to furthering their educational journey. The quantity and quality of the applications we received this year were amazing, with over 30 superior quality applications received by the Scholarship Nominating Committee. After much deliberation and in recognizing this young lady’s leadership and community service, Golden Plains Insurance awards Jami Jo Quick our annual educational scholarship.

Beef Bundle Give-A-Way

Golden Plains insurance knows that Agriculture is the backbone of this region’s economy. The farmers, ranchers and cattlemen of Southeast Colorado are the driving force behind the success of our area.  We owe them a huge thank you for what they do for the local economy, as well as providing food for the world. To show our appreciation, Golden Plains Insurance is giving away TWO meat bundle packages on March 20th. Each 50 lb bundle consists of Sirloin, Ribeye, Ribs, Ground Beef and Roast.
