Deann Palmer has been a part of the Golden Plains Insurance team since January 2014. She helps to ensure that the Springfield office runs proficiently by servicing and selling Home and Auto policies along with helping clients with any other insurance needs. Deann is licensed in Property and Casualty, life and health insurance and has over 18 years of experience in the insurance field.

Dakota Cook has been with Golden Plains Insurance since January of 2020 where she sits at the front desk in the Lamar office and serves as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). She is a 2019 graduate of Walsh High School and is currently a sophomore at Lamar Community College where she has earned her Associates of Science in Agriculture and is now working towards her nursing degree.

Dakota enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family and friends, and helping her family run their cattle operation when she is home.

Dawn Rodarmel has been an agent with Golden Plains Insurance since January of 2013.  Prior to 2013, she worked for PJ Wilson Insurance from 2008-2013 before it was purchased by Golden Plains.  Dawn is licensed in several states and enjoys helping people with their insurance needs.  Upon receiving her Associate’s degree in Business Admin and Ag Business, Dawn chose to further her education and attended Adams State College to obtain a Bachelor’

Teresa Cogburn became a team member in March of 2014 when Golden Plains Insurance bought CSB Insurance in Walsh, where she had worked since August of 2009.  Teresa enjoys giving our customers quotes for commercial, property and casualty policies along with assisting with our crop policies.  Sticking with the practice of always treating others the way she wants to be treated, Teresa always does an outstanding job to provide the very best service to our customers.

Golden Plains Insurance is once again proud to announce its annual scholarship award. It would consist of a one time, $1,000 scholarship for the 2020-2021 Academic school year to a deserving 2020 high school graduate with a desire for successful completion of higher education, either academic or vocational.
